Bel Pre Recreational Association

The BPRA functions as the neighborhood’s homeowners association. Historically, the board’s primary function has been managing the community recreation property — your pools, tennis courts, volleyball, playgrounds, picnic area, basketball court, bath house, snack bar and pavilion on the Association’s property.  The main pool property is open from the beginning of Memorial Day Weekend through the end of Labor Day Weekend every.  The tennis courts are year-round.

The Association charges an annual assessment of $225 per household, which is payable in March.  The fee is tied to deeds of Association members.  The Association is governed by several documents, which can be found on the Governing Documents page.

FY 2020 Budget

The annual budget is our key planning document for the upcoming fiscal year. In accordance with section 112.2(d)(2) of the Maryland Homeowners Association Act, the Board of Trustees is scheduled to consider and adopt the FY20 annual budget of the BPRA on Tuesday,January 8, 2019, at Bel Pre Elementary School, 13801 Rippling Brook Drive, in room 138 or 161, at 7:30 pm. The FY20 budget covers March 1, 2019 to February 29, 2020. A copy of the proposed budget will be mailed to all of the members of the BPRA in October of 2018, and will be presented at the November 15, 2018, BPRA General Membership meeting. A copy will also be available on the BPRA website. Time will be set aside at the beginning of the September 11, October 2, November 7, and January 8 Board of Trustees meetings to hear any statements by BPRA members. BPRA members are also welcome and encouraged to contact the members of the Board of Trustees prior to January 8.
